Last updated: [DATE OF PUBLICATION]
This policy explains how Richard Evans (“I”, “me”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website or enquire about admissions consulting services, and how cookies are used on this site. It's written to comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who I am
This website is operated by Richard Evans (“I”, “me”, “my”), a dedicated postgraduate and MBA admissions consultant trading as Richard Evans Admissions. I operate as a sole trader (not a registered company), of Flat 65 Schomberg House, Page Street, London, SW1P 4BP. What data I collect
When you use the contact form on this site, I collect:
- Your name and email address
- Details about your target course/university
- Information about your academic background, grades and work experience that you choose to share
- Any other information you include in the “anything else” field
I also collect standard technical data automatically when you visit the site (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
Why I collect it, and my legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide services you've requested, legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a direct enquiry you've initiated), and contract where you go on to become a client.
- To understand site usage and improve the website (analytics), legal basis: consent, via the cookie banner.
Who sees your data
Enquiry form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet and trigger an email notification to me, using Google Workspace as a data processor. I don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. I may need to share limited information with subcontractors or associates directly supporting your engagement, only where relevant to delivering the service you've asked for, and always under confidentiality.
How long I keep it
Enquiry data from people who don't go on to become clients is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for 6 years afterward, in line with standard UK record-keeping practice for tax and accounting purposes.

This data is not used to individually identify you. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner, and you can block cookies generally through your browser settings.
No cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.
